Following Jesus and being the church

Welcome to Union Baptist Church. Founded in 1861, our church is deeply rooted in the Kershaw County community. Family, friends, community and guest gather at Union to celebrate the gift of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to spread God’s word and love to the community.

Thank you for taking a moment to explore our site. Come gather with us to experience Union. We welcome you as our guest.

Loving the Community

OUR GOAL

To provide a place where the depressed, the hurting and the hopeless can come and find help. To be a place of community, hope, love and worship.

OUR PLAN

To welcome the community with open arms. To disciple people who are passionate about living out God’s purpose for their lives. To give disciples a channel for reaching one more by serving and sharing the love of Jesus Christ through local and global missions.

OUR FUTURE

To continue our relentless pursuit to reach one more for Jesus by living the gospel in my home, by loving one more in my neighborhood and by sending one more to the ends of the earth to share the hope of Jesus Christ.
